Position Title: Systems Administrator - III
Client: Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond
Location: Remote near Dallas, TX or any of the 12 branch locations: (Richmond, VA / Boston, MA / New York City, NY / Philadelphia, PA / Cleveland, OH / Atlanta, GA / Chicago, IL / St. Louis, MO / Minneapolis, MN / Kansas City, MO / Dallas, TX / San Francisco, CA)
Position Status: 18-month contract w/ possible extension or be brought on PERM.
Pay Rate: $65-70/hr
Overview: Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator - III for a remote position based out of Dallas, TX. They are the nation's central bank, and you ll play a key role, collaborating with leading tech professionals to strengthen and protect our economic, financial and payments systems. They invest in contemporary and emerging technology each year to support the Federal Reserve and our economy and are building a dynamic team for the future.
• Responsibilities:Deploys the release of new technologies as well as designs, installs, configures, maintains and performs system integration testing of PC/server operating systems, related utilities and hardware.
• Responsible for trouble shooting server problems as reported by users.
• Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.
• Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment.
• Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth, installs new servers and maintains the server infrastructure.
Qualifications: API middleware engineering and operations support
• Core Middleware TechnologiesMule Platform (MuleSoft runtime environment)
• Mule Runtime - administration and troubleshooting
• add AWS Native technology and services (such as S3, EC2, AWS API Gateway)
• Middleware system administration
• Infrastructure as CodeTerraform - management and implementation
• Security & OperationsSecurity Groups - configuration and management
• Vulnerability remediation
• Operational support and troubleshooting
• Deployment & Change ManagementDeployment management
• Production change execution
• Change coordination
• Additional Technical CompetenciesInfrastructure automation
