As a • *Sustainability Specialist** , you will play a key role in turning strategy into action - supporting sustainability initiatives across the organization while working closely with senior stakeholders in a high-impact environment. This is a strategic role with significant exposure, responsibility, and room to grow. You’ll join a highly driven team with a consulting mindset, where analytical rigor, collaboration, and ownership are valued. • *Your Responsibilities • *Sustainability & Strategy • Support the Sustainability Manager in tracking and reporting progress against group-level sustainability objectives and KPIs. • Contribute to, plan, and execute sustainability-related projects, from defining objectives to reporting progress to management. • Translate sustainability strategy into practical actions, driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific programs. • Stay informed on external sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices, providing insights and consultation to the business as needed. • Share lessons learned and best practices across teams and organizational units. • *Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement • Engage with internal and external stakeholders (including customers, suppliers, and authorities) to raise awareness, build commitment, and gather feedback on sustainability performance. • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve sustainability outcomes and performance. • Support project resource management, including staffing coordination and basic financial tracking. • *Key Requirements To be successful in this role, you bring strong motivation, analytical rigor, and a genuine desire to make an impact. You have two to four years of experience in strategy consulting, analytics, or a similarly fast-paced, high-performance environment, where working quickly without losing attention to detail is second nature to you. Ideally, you come from a leading consulting firm such as McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) or Bain & Company where you have developed a structured approach to problem‑solving and stakeholder management. You are confident in analyzing complex data and drawing clear, well-reasoned conclusions, and you communicate those insights effectively to a wide range of stakeholders. You are comfortable operating in dynamic environments, remain flexible when priorities shift, and are willing to step up and take ownership when urgent topics arise. You bring an international mindset or experience working across cultures, which helps you collaborate effectively in a global organization. While prior exposure to sustainability topics is an advantage, your curiosity, motivation, and willingness to learn are what truly set you apart. You hold a master’s degree and are ambitious about growing within a strategic function. You enjoy working collaboratively, are comfortable with ambiguity, and act in line with ABB’s values while contributing positively to the team.
