Position Overview: Surgical Tech - $1,878 per week
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Tech to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. This is a travel job opportunity, offering a competitive salary of $1,878 per week, with a 13-week assignment starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and in working order
Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment
Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including patient information and surgical supplies used
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans, promoting optimal patient outcomes
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies, applying this knowledge to improve surgical procedures and patient care
Essential Qualifications:
2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech
BLS and national and state certification and/or as required
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
Ability to work 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week
Must live 60 miles away from the facility to qualify for travel rate
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced surgical environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team
Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software
Certification in surgical technology (CST) or equivalent
