The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and continuously seeks process improvements, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.RESPONSIBILITIESOwn efficient inventory management and supplier performance across multiple product linesEnsure high in-stock levels while minimizing excess product/shrinkage due to expiration or obsolescenceCreate purchase orders and ensure accurate quantities are assessed for basic, promotional, and seasonal productsMonitor inventory and make daily purchases to maintain inventory turns, while minimizing out-of-stocksCollaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of product, resolve shipping issues, advise on appropriate carriers, manage purchase order changes, and review monthly scorecards Ensure timely delivery of POs to maintain service level goals, and work through corrective action plans as neededCollaborate with Category Managers & Fulfillment Center leadership team to resolve item, purchase order and vendor related issues where stock and service levels are not being metQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or related field (preferably analytical/business related)5+ year of work experience in analytically driven role, preferably Retail or Distribution, previous replenishment, buying, or supply planning experience is a plusAbility to function in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment; someone who is self-directed, motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and highly flexibleCreative and analytical thinker who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize work within tight, concurrent deadlinesAbility to fully utilize all Microsoft Office software at an expert level, including Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookups, advanced formulas)Ability to adapt quickly to an ever-evolving environmentBELONG TO A BETTER COMPANYComprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability)Competitive salary (DOE) + equity401k Employer Match9 Observed HolidaysFlexible Paid Time OffSubsidized ClassPass Membership with access to fitness classes and wellness and beauty experiencesAbility to work in our beautiful co-working space at WeWork in Playa Vista and other locationsFree Thrive Market membership with exclusive employee discountCoverage for Life Coaching & Therapy Sessions on our holistic mental health and well-being platformWe're a community of more than 1 Million + members who are united by a singular belief: It should be easy to find better products, support better brands, make better choices, and build a better world in the process.At Thrive Market, we believe in building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic culture. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
