The role involves ensuring accurate supplier setup, maintaining high quality supplier master data, and delivering a seamless onboarding experience for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.ResponsibilitiesSupport onboarding activities for new suppliers through the company’s Supplier Portal as a Supplier Onboarding Specialist on the Supplier and Risk Management Team (SRMT)Help ensure accurate supplier setup, maintain high quality supplier master data, and deliver a seamless onboarding experience for both internal stakeholders and external suppliersSupport core operational workflows that reinforce data integrity, compliance with internal controls, and SRMT’s broader supplier management objectivesSupport end-to-end onboarding of third-party suppliers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and SOX control requirementsCreate, maintain, and validate supplier records in alignment with SRMT procedures, governance standards, and master-data best practicesMaintain supplier master data, documentation, and electronic records in accordance with data protection, audit readiness, and compliance requirementsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate onboarding activities, address routine questions, and support the onboarding lifecycleGuide suppliers through system setup steps, required documentation, and onboarding requirementSupport broader SRMT operational activities and priority initiatives, including supplier segmentation, due diligence coordination, and ongoing supplier profile maintenanceTrack onboarding progress, identify delays or data quality issues, and follow established escalation paths as directed by senior team membersSkillsExperience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TeamsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentAbility to prioritize workload and meet varying deadlinesAbility to pay strict attention to detail and commit to accuracyAbility to work independently and collectively as a part of a teamHS diploma or GEDExperience with supplier onboarding, supply chain operations, data management, or supplier lifecycle managementAbility to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersPossession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsPossession of strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPossession of strong time management and organizational skillsBenefitsHealthLifeDisabilityFinancialRetirement benefitsPaid leaveProfessional developmentTuition assistanceWork-life programsDependent careCompany OverviewBooz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that specializes in analytics, technology, and engineering.
