What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and train coding staff, managing performance and workload goals
- Assist the coding manager with scheduling, payroll, and physician education
- Perform production coding as needed to support the team
- Build strong relationships and facilitate communication among stakeholders
- Organize and monitor special projects to ensure timely and accurate completion

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in a Health Information related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of an Associate’s degree
- 3 years of experience as a production coder, including ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS coding
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- At least 1 year in a leadership or oversight role
- Professional Coding Certification
