What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and train coding staff while managing workload goals and performance standards
- Assist the coding manager with scheduling, payroll, and physician education
- Perform production coding as needed to support the team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication
- Identify and resolve workflow barriers, implementing process improvements as necessary

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in a Health Information related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of Associate’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a production coder, including ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT/HCPCS coding
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- At least 1 year in a leadership or oversight role
- Professional Coding Certification
