What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise coders, providing training and counseling on performance and workload management
- Assist the Coding Manager with scheduling, payroll, and work queue assignments
- Engage in production coding as needed to support the team
- Build strong relationships and facilitate communication with key stakeholders and departments
- Identify and monitor workflow processes to resolve barriers and improve efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in a Health Information related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of an Associate’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a production coder specializing in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT/HCPCS coding
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- At least 1 year in a leadership role overseeing staff and/or processes
- Professional Coding Certification

- Familiarity with revenue cycle processes and performance indicators
- Strong analytical skills for data assessment and reporting
