Overview We are seeking a skilled Oracle Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimising Oracle-based solutions to meet our clients’ business needs. The ideal applicant will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Duties • Analyse client requirements and design customised Oracle solutions aligned with organisational objectives. • Implement and configure Oracle applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle environments, troubleshooting issues as they arise. • Develop detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise system performance and enhance user experience. • Conduct training sessions for end-users to facilitate effective utilisation of Oracle applications. • Assist in testing new features or updates before deployment to minimise disruption. • Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements. Qualifications • Proven experience as an Oracle Consultant or similar role specialising in Oracle ERP or database solutions. • Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, and related tools. • Familiarity with cloud-based Oracle services is desirable. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently. • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams clearly and professionally. • Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) are advantageous. • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not essential if complemented by substantial practical experience.
