Summer Intern - Film Sales and Distribution
EST x N8 Studios is seeking independent, proactive and motivated International Sales, Marketing & Distribution interns for the Summer 2025.
- Intern will work 2 to 3 days per week with flexible hours.
- This is a 100% remote position.
- The internship is unpaid and school credit can be provided.
The International Sales Interns will be exposed to the worlds of international film sales and markets as well as film finance and operations within the company.
- Interns will be asked to do general administrative and project based tasks.
- They will learn how to evaluate scripts and screeners from a sales perspective and will weigh in on criteria such as commerciality, marketability, appropriate cast, etc.
- They will learn about the art of negotiating/closing a deal and the major deal points involved in a distribution deal.
- Additionally they'll participate in the necessary steps one must take when preparing to attend a market/festival and the festival circuit as a whole.
Throughout the internship, interns will have the opportunity to sit in on company conference calls and meetings and schedule Q&A sessions with all executives allowing for a more in-depth and well-rounded learning experience.
- Interns will also be taught essential entry-level desk coverage skills so they are prepared for their first job in the industry.
SKILLS
- Basic software skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, etc.)
- Proficient/confident in writing & speaking English.
- Proficiency in any Asian languages is a plus but not necessary.
- Independent, self-starter, proactive, motivated to learn with a positive attitude.
REQUIREMENTS
- Can start ASAP or 06/01 (summer term)
- Must be willing to commit to the end of August 2025 (summer term).
- Must have a laptop.
- Must be passionate about Film, TV, and the entertainment industry as a whole
