About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer Intern to join the Salesforce AI Research Incubation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI research projects, collaborating with researchers and engineers to develop and maintain internal tools, websites, and demo applications.

As a Full Stack Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance. You will work with modern web technologies, including React, Next.js, and Node.js, while also gaining exposure to Python and AI-related projects.
Responsibilities
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment of demo projects.
• Work closely with researchers to define and implement features for demo applications.
• Develop and maintain the Salesforce AI Research Portal and Blog.
• Develop and maintain the Salesforce AI Research Internal Wiki.
• Work primarily with React, Next.js, and Node.js, with potential exposure to Python.
• Collaborate across teams and time zones via Slack and video conferences.

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (Spring 2026 Grad)
• Experience in full-stack web application development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React.
• Strong back-end development skills, including Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of database systems and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Python is a plus
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing is a plus
