Job Summary
The Manager of Human Resources (HR) plans, organizes, and manages HR functions. This includes staffing, work assignments, hiring, termination, performance reviews, orientation, and professional development.
Essential Functions of the Role
ā¢ Ensures that HR Services are provided in compliance with established policies, procedures, and practices.
ā¢ Serves as internal frontline support responding to inquiries from staff, managers, and leadership about HR processes, policies, and procedures. Serves as the primary contact for staff relations issues. Addresses staff complaints, issues, and policy violations in a timely manner and according to established disciplinary policies and procedures.
ā¢ Plans and facilitates new-hire orientation introducing new employees to the organization, culture, and business processes.
ā¢ Partners with department leadership to assist with goal planning, action plans, and ways to improve employee morale.
ā¢ Partners with department leadership to work on recruitment strategy for hard-to-fill positions, providing guidance and resolution.
ā¢ Works with department leadership to ensure employee files are correct and maintained. Conducts audits as needed to ensure compliance and reports metrics to leadership.
ā¢ Serves as a trainer for management by educating them on HR systems and policy interpretation. Ensures all required training for staff and management is completed by running reports and conducting audits.
ā¢ Participates on multiple cross-functional projects providing HR guidance and knowledge and ensuring compliance with system policies and procedures.
ā¢ Facilitates communications to staff and encourages participation in staff engagement activities and events.
ā¢ Performs HR activities like interviewing, hiring recommendations, orienting, evaluating, and coaching. Also, assists with team-building and disciplinary actions if necessary.
Key Success Factors
ā¢ Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
ā¢ HR Manager experience can include HR Generalist experience.
ā¢ Exceptional interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Understanding of HR laws and regulations.
ā¢ Project management and implementation skills.
ā¢ Formal managerial and leadership training preferred.

ā¢ EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
ā¢ EXPERIENCE - 7 Years of Experience
ā¢ Hybrid expectation- role will mainly be on-site with minimal remote work opportunities
