Job Summary
As a Certified Medical Assistant 2, you will help patients' physical well-being under a doctor's guidance. Tasks include updating records, giving injections, and more. Administrative duties like scheduling and staff training are also part of the job. This role emphasizes teamwork and a positive learning atmosphere.
What You'll Do
Ā Offering help during patient examinations and treatments, under the guidance of a physician.
Ā Setting up treatment rooms for patient examinations and ensuring their cleanliness post-procedure.
Ā Accompanying patients from the waiting area, preparing them for their examination.
Ā Conducting patient interviews to obtain medical information and documenting it in their medical history.
Ā Taking and recording patient vital signs.
Ā Carrying out routine patient tests, processing electrocardiograms, and collecting specimen samples.
Ā Administering medications as instructed by Physician.
Ā Changing dressings and removing sutures and staples.
Ā Undertaking administrative tasks like answering calls and us scheduling appointments.
Ā Promoting team productivity through huddles and meetings, and assisting in the mentoring and training of staff members.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role
Ā An understanding of safe medical practice and precise medication administration.
Ā Aptitude for documenting patient information accurately.
Ā Capacity to monitor patients' overall physical health, and report any abnormal findings.
Ā Proficiency in administering injections and drawing blood.
Ā Familiarity with medical terminology.
Ā Exceptional patient care skills, including a comforting bedside manner.
Ā Ability to adhere closely to instructions given by physicians.
Ā Experience with medical charts and records.

Qualifications
Ā High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Ā A minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
Ā Obtaining a Basic Life Support Certification within 30 days of joining.
Ā Must be CMA from one listed : Nat Cert Med Asst (NCMA) from NCCT / Cert Med Asst (CMA) from AAMA or ARMA / Cert Cln Med Asst (CCMA) from NHA / Reg Med Asst (RMA) from AMT, AAMP or AAH / Nat Reg Cert Med Asst (NRCMA) from NAHP / Cln Med Asst Cert (CMAC) from AMCA.
