Student Success Program Coordinator

The UW School of Medicine and Public Health is dedicated to supporting the success of MD students. The Student Success Program Coordinator plays a key role in planning and executing MD orientation programming, managing onboarding processes, and supporting student leadership development through advising and coordination of student organizations. Responsibilities May supervise the day to day activities of one or more academic programs and resolves issues exercising discretion to meet unit goals Coordinates program components and evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement Identifies program, needs, contributes to the development of unit workflows, schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, events, and interviews Utilizes independent judgement regarding development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation for one or more academic programs, initiatives, or events Skills Demonstrated experience supporting students or coordinating student-facing programs in higher education, student affairs, health professions education, or a related setting Demonstrated experience independently coordinating logistics, communications, and implementation of educational or student programming Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills Experience supporting student leadership and/or student organizations in a higher education setting Experience with program assessment, theme tracking, or continuous improvement efforts Bachelor's degree preferred minimum Benefits Generous vacation, holidays, and sick leave Competitive insurances and savings accounts Retirement benefits Company Overview UW School of Medicine and Public Health offers graduate programs, health professions programs, and innovative research.
