The role involves providing specialized mental health services to older adults through therapy in various settings, along with professional development and supervision. Responsibilities Provide specialized mental health services to clients aged 55 and older Deliver individual, group, and couples therapy in both outpatient settings and community locations such as nursing homes and assisted living facilities Participate in professional development and attend team meetings Receive weekly individual supervision and training in cognitive screening, crisis management, and therapeutic modalities tailored to older adults Skills Master's-level student pursuing a degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work Required Vaccination and TB Test Proof of both the flu shot and negative TB test must be provided on your first day of employment Second-year students pursuing a Master's in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work Company Overview Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is a large, not‑for‑profit community mental health organization that provides a wide range of mental health and addiction services to anyone and everyone in need.
