Structural Engineer, 3+ years
Job Description:
• Support the design and delivery of foundation and structural systems across infrastructure and renewable energy projects
• Work closely with senior engineers to contribute to projects from concept through construction
• Focus on structural design for solar tracker systems, equipment pads, and site development structures
• Participate in structural engineering efforts for utility substation projects
• Review project documents and develop structural Basis of Design (BOD)
• Design and size foundations based on geotechnical recommendations and equipment loads
• Perform load calculations and develop structural models using FEA tools
• Prepare structural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• EIT certification required, PE in progress preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in structural design, with exposure to foundation engineering, energy, or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with structural software (e.g., RISA, RAM, STAAD) preferred
• Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI standards
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and willingness to learn
• Willingness to travel (10–15%) for occasional site visits or field support
