Corporate Development & Strategic Finance Expert (Contract)
Role Overview
Design and evaluate complex transaction and strategy workflows across M&A, diligence, and capital allocation scenarios.
Engage in high-impact work requiring rigorous financial modeling and analytical precision.
$100 $135/hour | ~20 hours per week | Remote
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop scenarios covering valuation, deal structuring, and transaction analysis
ā¢ Build financial models including DCF, LBO, and merger frameworks
ā¢ Evaluate diligence workflows including synergy analysis and data validation
ā¢ Assess capital allocation decisions using defined financial metrics and outcomes
ā¢ Create deterministic rubrics with clear, verifiable results
ā¢ Review transaction artifacts including models, CIMs, and investment memos
Core Requirements
ā¢ Strong expertise in corporate development, investment banking, or strategic finance
ā¢ Working knowledge of valuation methods, financial modeling, and deal analysis
ā¢ Ability to interpret and produce transaction documentation with precision
ā¢ High attention to detail with consistent analytical rigor
ā¢ Clear, structured written communication with step-by-step reasoning
Additional Strengths
ā¢ Experience across M&A, private equity, or corporate strategy environments
ā¢ Exposure to complex transactions, diligence processes, or capital planning
ā¢ Ability to manage multi-step financial scenarios with sustained focus
