You will collaborate with account managers to ensure Garner’s most important clients have an excellent experience and achieve the expected results. As a Strategic Accounts Director you will become our client’s trusted strategic partner on plan design, bending cost trends and driving plan performance. Through your efforts, you will be responsible for driving improved Net Revenue Retention and other KPIs for your book of business. This role will report to the SVP, Strategic Accounts. This position is remote with up to 25% travel.What you will do:Own the process to retain and upsell some of Garner’s largest employer clientsCollaborate with account managers to ensure Garner’s important clients have an excellent experienceBecome our client’s trusted strategic partner on plan design, bending cost trends and driving plan performanceWork with clients to resolve strategic problems and ensure Garner is delivering value to the employer’s health plan and membersEstablish and manage some of the most important strategic broker and client relationshipsMonitor and anticipate the strategic needs of your book of businessMonitor overall client health and execute strategic plans to proactively address key account risksCollaborate with product, data, and technology teams to deliver customized reports and presentations demonstrating the value and ROI of GarnerDrive improved net revenue retention and other KPIs for your book of businessWhat you will bring to the team:Deep health plan design and benefits knowledge, including experience advising large and Enterprise employer clients on benefits strategy and cost performance7+ years of experience in a commercially-oriented account management or sales role in the employee benefits spaceA deep commercial focus with the desire to be measured and compensated via the retention and growth of your book of businessProven results of achieving retention and upsell targets year over year A self-starter with the strong desire to work in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving, and fast-paced startup environment with notable upsideExcellent communication and presentation skillsProblem solver in ambiguous situations Strong communicator who can effectively articulate a visionThe ability to travel up to 25% of the timeA desire to be a part of our mission to improve the healthcare systemCompensation Transparency:The base salary range for this position is $158,000 - $195,000. This position is also commission eligible. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
