Imagine being the driving force behind transforming veterinary practices nationwide. As a Strategic Account Executive at Instinct Science, you'll focus on our Veterinary Decision Support products. You will be the architect of strategic partnerships, working with key decision-makers in large veterinary groups and corporate practices, leveraging your veterinary background to provide key insights. You'll dive deep into understanding their unique needs and challenges, crafting tailored solutions that elevate their operations and patient care. This isn't just a sales role; it's a consultative journey, where you'll build lasting relationships and become a trusted advisor in the veterinary industry. What You’ll Do ‍
• Drive adoption of Instinct’s Decision Support products: Your work will focus on the Plumb’s and Standards of Care product lines
• Create and implement comprehensive account plans for strategic veterinary clients, focusing on maximizing revenue and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within large veterinary groups and corporate practices.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the specific challenges and goals of each client.
• Effectively present and demonstrate our products and services, highlighting their value proposition and addressing client concerns.
• Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive client satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and partner.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless client experiences.
• Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management, tracking progress against targets.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes within the veterinary field.
• Travel to client locations, and industry conferences as needed.

Who You Are ‍
• Must Haves:
• You must be a licensed Veterinarian (DVM) with clinical experience
• You must have working knowledge of the Plumb’s and Standard’s products.
• Ability to travel to client sites and conferences as needed
• A strong understanding of the veterinary landscape, including the dynamics of large group practices and corporate veterinary organizations.
• Ability to cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, from practice owners and administrators to medical directors.
• A consultative mindset and knack for solving problems that address client needs
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivation and strong organizational skills
• Nice-to-Haves:
• Prior Sales experience

Total Compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $200,000 and will be a mix of base salary and variable compensation earned.
