About The Role As a Strategic Account Executive, you will partner and align with Microsoft’s sales teams, including but not limited to Cloud & AI Specialists, AI Workforce Specialists, Global Black Belts, Channel Managers and Account Technology Specialists to uncover AVD opportunities where Nerdio can plugin and help companies deploy, manage, optimize, and secure an AVD environment. Alignment with Microsoft is essential. We need relationship builders with a strong understanding of VDI and EUC technologies to continue to grow our most prized partnership with Microsoft and its sales teams. You must be highly motivated and take an entrepreneurial approach to growing the relationship and revenue in addition to being a team player. Our ideal SAE is highly skilled with a partnership selling approach. You’ll be juggling lots of opportunities at the same time – so being organized and having a positive outlook is key – and don’t be afraid to ask those stupid questions, working together is how we roll here! This may involve coordinating with other departments in the wider team, putting your excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills to good use! What You'll Do Partnership & Pipeline Development: Collaborate with Microsoft's sales teams, channel partners, and direct customers to identify AVD opportunities where Nerdio can offer solutions. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to drive business growth and increase Nerdio 's market presence. Leverage your understanding of VDI and EUC technologies to position Nerdio as the preferred solution for AVD deployments. Sales Management: Manage a portfolio of opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management. Drive the sales process from lead qualification to closing deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and exceed customer expectations. Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to AVD and EUC. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and drive strategic decision-making. Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to enhance Nerdio 's offerings and go-to-market strategies. Qualifications Proven track record of sales success, preferably in the technology industry, with experience in VDI or SaaS sales. Strong understanding of VDI and EUC technologies, including AVD and Windows365. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Required Experience A minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry. Proven track record of success in sales, including meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas. Previous experience working within an enterprise global sales team and/or aligned to a regional sales territory. Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and manage a team effectively. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for managing sales pipelines and tracking performance. Preferred Experience Experience in selling cloud computing, IT services, or software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. Experience of partnering with the Microsoft sales team to co-sell Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies. Previous experience in managing remote or distributed sales teams. Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Experience in building and maintaining partnerships or channel relationships. Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve their targets.
