Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Story Artist Intern to join our team. This is an opportunity for emerging artists to gain hands-on experience in the creative development pipeline, learn about professional workflows, and build a strong portfolio. While this position is unpaid, interns will gain mentorship, feedback, and real-world experience in a supportive studio environment.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the creative team to visually develop story ideas.
Create storyboards, beat boards, and visual sequences to support storytelling.
Assist in refining visual narratives and contributing ideas during creative discussions.
Support ongoing projects with sketches, revisions, and layout work.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Animation, Illustration, Storyboarding, Film, or a related field.
Strong drawing and visual storytelling skills.
Familiarity with storyboarding software (e.g., Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, or equivalent) is a plus.
A passion for storytelling and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
