Store Team Member

Job Summary of Store Team Member:

This role is primarily concerned with delivering a friendly and efficient customer service experience in a dynamic retail setting. Key duties include managing the register, restocking merchandise, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various store operations. The individual will be cross-trained in different roles to help the store team and ensure the location is always operational and inviting to customers.

Job duties and expected responsibilities:
• Ensure guests feel welcomed with a friendly greeting and receive unparalleled customer service.
• Quickly and precisely operate the cash register while maintaining a friendly and positive demeanor.
• Maintain in-stock conditions by stocking shelves, coolers, and freezers with products for customer convenience.
• Take necessary precautions to uphold food safety standards when preparing coffee and associated items.
• Keep the store clean at all times, which includes the sales floors, food preparation areas, and restroom facilities.
• Skillfully handle a swiftly changing landscape and provide assistance to team members as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on assigned tasks and follow directives from store leadership.
• Working at nearby locations might be necessary to provide assistance for operations.

Qualifications and Experience of Store Team Member:
• No formal education requirements stipulated; preference given to those with a high school diploma or GED.
• Candidates with 3-6 months of experience in retail, food service, or guest service are preferred.
• While it is recommended, a ServSafe or food safety certification is not mandatory.
• Comfortable engaging with patrons and coworkers in a customer-facing capacity.
• Displaying energy, adaptability, a team-player attitude, and basic computer skills can be advantageous.
