Job Overview
As a Store Stock Associate, you'll be responsible for a wide range of duties, including merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, and cleaning to keep our store looking its best. You'll work collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional customer service, and you'll be expected to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Merchandise and stock product to ensure that our shelves are always fully stocked and faced
Process customer purchases efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns
Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
Clean and maintain the store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our customers and employees
Collaborate with our team to achieve sales goals and objectives, and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and monitoring inventory levels to minimize losses
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and loss prevention


Essential Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age to be employed in this role
Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns
Ability to safely and properly operate equipment, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our customers and employees
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures


Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred, with a focus on customer service and sales
A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge, with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles


Skills and Competencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, employees, and management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds, with the ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for long periods of time
Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and returns
