Duties and Responsibilities of STORE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT:
Ā• Capability to conduct job responsibilities is mandatory, even if reasonable accommodation is not provided.

Ā• Accomplishes customer transactions, carries out routine cleaning chores, arranges merchandise in a systematic manner, and restocks shelves of products
Ā• A successful shopping experience for customers is greatly dependent on the quality of assistance provided by the customer service team
Ā• Effectively communicating with the store management team and collaborating with your peers are two key factors that can lead to a productive and efficient workplace
Ā• It is vital for management to receive feedback on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues. This feedback enables them to understand customer needs and preferences, address performance issues, and make data-driven decisions to improve the overall business operations
Ā• Carry out periodic stocktaking, and monitor inventory for exactness per protocol
Ā• Carefully following set cash policies and procedures can help prevent financial setbacks
Ā• Shows full compliance with the company policies and procedures, as well as protecting the confidentiality and security of all documents and data
Ā• Tasks assigned as required

Physical Demands of STORE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT:
Ā• Skillfulness in transferring stock from store receiving area to shelves; adeptness in placing products that can weigh up to 45 pounds on shelves that may be located at different heights
Ā• The store expects its workers to remain active by frequently sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking around
Ā• Accomplished in executing responsibilities, with or without necessary accommodation

Qualifications of STORE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT:

Ā• The proficiency to offer fast and courteous service to customers is essential
Ā• A cashier's competence in operating a cash register effectively and error-free is essential for sound financial management
Ā• To ensure tasks are executed effectively and securely, it is essential to have the capability to skillfully operate equipment like electric and manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers
Ā• Mastery in carrying out general cleaning tasks to the company's expectations and standards of excellence
Ā• Comprehending and following company policies and procedures is a fundamental expectation for employees in any organization
Ā• Exceptional proficiency in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing
Ā• Being skilled in working independently and cooperatively is an indispensable competency for any employee
Ā• The proficiency to remain systematic, demonstrate attention to specifics, comply with instructions, and handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a professional and competent attitude
Ā• It is mandatory to follow the state and local requirements to operate a successful business selling and handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience of STORE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT:
Ā• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Ā• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
Ā• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
