STEM Education Specialist (Brazil, Remote)
About The Role
You will lead STEM curriculum and program delivery for Brazil-focused learning audiences while working remotely with a global team. You will create standards-aligned lessons, labs, and engineering challenges; write teacher guides and student materials; and define assessment rubrics to measure mastery and applied problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Own end-to-end STEM curriculum development (scope & sequence, lesson plans, labs, capstones)
ā¢ Build assessments: rubrics, item banks, mastery checks, and performance tasks
ā¢ Support live and asynchronous instruction with facilitation guides and instructor training
ā¢ Use learning analytics to track engagement and mastery; iterate for measurable improvement
ā¢ Collaborate with product/engineering to publish content in an LMS (formatting, tagging, version control)
ā¢ Ensure accessibility, inclusion, and standards alignment with documented rationale
ā¢ Maintain QA through peer review cycles and editorial consistency
Required Qualifications
ā¢ Mid-Senior experience in STEM teaching, curriculum development, instructional design, or program management
ā¢ Strong project-based learning and assessment design experience
ā¢ Comfort with learning analytics and data-informed iteration
ā¢ Excellent writing/editing for educator- and learner-facing materials
ā¢ Experience with Brazil-based learners or localized contexts preferred
Preferred Qualifications
ā¢ Robotics/maker education, coding instruction, or engineering design challenges
ā¢ Basic Python proficiency and familiarity with LMS platforms/content authoring tools
