Your Daily Tasks Will Entail: Design, build, and maintain core backend platform components, internal APIs, and services that empower engineering teamsSolve technical problems of high scope and complexityOptimize developer experience by building backend solutions that simplify workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce friction for engineersImprove existing codebases by identifying technical debt, proposing architectural improvements, and driving best practicesWork with other platform teams to ensure seamless integrations between developer tools, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructureCollaborate with engineers across teams through pair programming, code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and testingContribute to the organization's engineering culture by mentoring, setting high coding standards, and advocating for best practices Your Qualifications: At least 10 years of proven work experience in roles like Senior/Staff Engineer or ArchitectStrong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, with deep knowledge of backend architecture, performance optimization, and debuggingHands-on experience with Infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Observability), beyond mere usage — proven ability to build and manage infrastructureSolid understanding of object-oriented design and patternsKnowledge of design principles and development practicesExcellent written & spoken communication skills in English It Would be a Bonus if You Have: Previous experience working in a Platform or Developer Enablement teamExperience with continuous integration systemsProven track record in building infrastructureExperience with PHPThe ideal candidate will not only be proficient in NodeJS and TypeScript but will also have a deep understanding of and hands-on experience with building and managing infrastructure on AWS and ideally also Kubernetes. They will be able to demonstrate advanced skills in these areas during the interview process, showing a track record of solving complex infrastructure challenges and implementing robust, scalable solutions.
