Staff Software Engineer Description Staff Software Engineer Role Overview We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end components of our web applications. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable server-side solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business objectives. Desired Qualifications Expertise in back-end technologies like Golang, Python, or similar languages Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of web security principles and best practices Experience with containerization and kubernetes based deployments Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS What we are looking for in a candidate GCP experience and/or GCP certifications Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with technology trends Key Responsibilities Back End Development: Design, develop, and maintain back-end components of web applications using modern technologies and frameworks. Build and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and front-end developers to gather requirements, brainstorm solutions, and implement features. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, identify potential issues, and share knowledge with team members. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to back-end functionality. Identify and address performance bottlenecks to optimize application speed and efficiency.
