Staff Security Engineer Vulnerability Management
## What you’ll be doing: Develop and execute a strategic vision for Vulnerability Management (VM) that ensures the right balance of safety and agility. Partner with development teams to design and implement security controls in vulnerability detection, prevention, and remediation. Own metric and OKR development and be accountable for adherence to VM program procedure and risk reduction outcomes. Brief and engage with engineering leaders in operational reviews and written updates. Drive continuous improvement in the vulnerability management process. ## What we look for in you: At least 5 years of experience in vulnerability management, application security, or related information security domains. At least 2 years of experience using SQL and/or Python to analyze vulnerability data and/or deliver operational metrics. Strong understanding of security frameworks and risk management. Experience with security tools and technologies for vulnerability assessment. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You have landed impact through long-range strategic plans and influenced technical leads and executives. An execution-focused mindset, capable of navigating through ambiguity and delivering results.
