Staff Product Designer

We are looking for a Staff Product Designer to craft world-class experiences that simplify complex tax and compliance workflows into intuitive, elegant solutions.In this role, you will shape the future of our product experience as we scale globally. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to bring our vision to life, from discovery to delivery. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our solutions are not only functional but also delightful to use, empowering businesses around the world to unlock their full potential.What you will do:Lead design initiatives across the entire product lifecycle – from early research and concept development through detailed UI design and deliveryCollaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and domain experts to deeply understand our users and translate complex tax workflows into simple, intuitive solutionsEstablish and drive a high-quality visual and interaction design language across the platformDesign flows and experiences that are elegant, accessible, and empower users to be confident in managing compliance at scaleContribute to strategic decisions about product vision and roadmapHelp shape and grow our design culture and processes, including mentoring designers and contributing to our design systemBridge the gap between technical complexity and human-centered design, championing usability and product simplicityYou will be a great fit if:You have extensive experience as a product designer, ideally with exposure to enterprise or B2B SaaS platformsComfortable designing end-to-end experiences – from user journeys to UI components – and iterating quickly based on feedbackYou have strong interaction and visual design skills and can bring simplicity to complexityExperience working closely with product and engineering teams in an agile environmentYou’re an excellent communicator and storyteller who can articulate design decisions clearly to cross-functional teamsYou care deeply about user experience and are constantly looking for ways to improve itComfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where flexibility, autonomy, and initiative are essentialFamiliarity with design systems and tools like Figma; bonus points for experience with tax tech, fintech, or platform-based productsNative or close to native proficiency in English; other languages are a plusAs part of the recruitment process at Fonoa, we process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice for Job Applicants.
