Key Job Responsibilities • Hands‑on involvement in the operation of prescription fulfillment, including dispensing medications, managing the entire process from initiation to final shipment. • Fill, verify, and pack orders for shipment, and perform pharmacist verifications. • Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses. • Collaborate with other staff pharmacists to ensure all produced packet, bulk, and new business line sets undergo thorough quality‑assurance checks prior to shift end. • Complete ancillary housekeeping pharmacy tasks such as checking returns, inputting medication rejects, overseeing medication substitutions, and canister approvals. • Answer clinical questions and provide clinical guidance. • Investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting. • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction and comply with all company procedures, Federal/State laws, rules and regulations. • Provide pertinent pharmacy information to distribution teams. Role Also Involves • Management and maintenance of customer profiles in Pharmacy OS. • Initial prescription order processing and verification. • Prescription transfer coordination. • New prescription acquisition and processing. • System‑based verification and documentation. • Available shifts: Friday‑Monday 10‑hour shifts, starts 7:30 am. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor of Science or Pharm D degree. • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state of employment (additional licenses may be required if domicile state differs). • Knowledge of pharmacy laws, federal and state regulations concerning patient care. • Exemplary interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal). • Ability to perform basic computer functions. • Warehouse work ability, including lifting up to 20 lb. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in long‑term care or retail setting.
