Position: Staff Nurse (Home Care) - Based in Simei
Location: Town of Islip

Since 2015, Metta Home Care has provided compassionate, home-based nursing and medical care for individuals with chronic illnesses or organ failure. Our goal is to reduce hospital readmissions and empower seniors to age in place with dignity, comfort, and continuity of care.
As a Staff Nurse, you’ll play a key role in bringing medical support into the homes of vulnerable clients, helping them maintain quality of life in the community they know and love.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular home visits and comprehensive nursing assessments
• Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterisation, NG tube insertion/removal, etc.
• Work closely with doctors and caregivers to coordinate care plans
• Educate clients and families on basic home nursing and self-care techniques
• Refer clients to relevant financial or psychosocial support services
• Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation in line with PDPA standards
• Achieve a minimum of 7 home visits per day
• Support occasional outreach or fundraising activities as needed
What You Bring
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing, registered with SNB
• 1–2 years of clinical experience (community care experience a plus)
• Able to work independently and travel for daily home visits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable to diverse home environments
