Staff GL Accountant
We're an Ed Tech company looking for a Staff Accountant to work about 10 hours per week (time can fluctuate dependent on skill set). Hours must be spread across the week to answer questions stemming from customers and employees.
Responsibilities:
General Accounting
- Assist with month end close
- Book revenue entries in Netsuite
- Order entry into Salesforce to sync with Netsuite and set up invoices
- Perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and maintain schedules for prepaid expenses
- Assist with compiling audit documentation
Manage AR function
- Send Dunning Notices to customers
- Own communication with clients regarding collections, account reconciliation and inquiries
- Track customer payment & escalate as needed
- Apply cash receipts (customer and non-customer receipts)
Manage AP functions
- Code invoices in Bill.com
- Reach out to vendors
- Review Expensify reports and recode as necessary
- Assist with system implementation for testing (dependent on skill set):
- Nue.io
- Zone Billing multi-currency
- Expense reporting (vendor TBD)
Skills Needed:
- Experience in Collections / AR / AP
- Experience with Netsuite, Expensify, Bills.com, Excel, Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently with solution oriented mindset
- Collaborative team player with proactive mindset
Nice to have:
-Experience with Salesforce and Revenue
