Key Responsibilities
As a Staff Engineer at Workwarp, you will be responsible for:

Providing technical and thought leadership to the enterprise, focusing on multiple areas and driving engineering excellence
Collaborating with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions
Developing and executing technical software development strategies for the Platform Engineering domain
Owning accountability for the quality, usability, and performance of solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards
Being a role model and mentor, helping to coach and strengthen the technical expertise and know-how of our engineering and product community
Influencing and educating executives, consistently sharing best practices, and improving processes within and across teams
Analyzing cost and forecasting, incorporating them into business plans, and determining and supporting resource requirements
Evaluating operational processes, measuring outcomes to ensure desired results, demonstrating adaptability, and sponsoring continuous learning
Taking on-call and operation support, ensuring seamless delivery of our services

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Deep hands-on experience in complex system design and implementation of Containers and Kubernetes platforms
Fluency in at least two object-oriented programming languages, such as Java, Go, Python, C++, etc.
Good knowledge of two or more of the following languages: C, C#, PHP, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, shell script, etc.
Exemplary ability to design, perform experiments, and influence engineering direction and product roadmap
Experience partnering with engineering teams and transferring research to production
Track record of publications in credible conferences and journals
Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
In-depth knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms
Experience solving analytical problems with quantitative approaches
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle
Knowledge of big data and streaming data architecture (Lambda/Kappa), K8 cluster, and ETL pipeline
Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
Experience with CI/CD pipeline and related open-source tools like GIT, Jenkins, CircleCI, SonarQube
Knowledge of open-source monitoring software like Grafana and Prometheus
Experience using Terraform (infrastructure as code)
Experience with C# and .NET programming
Expertise in Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, and AWS Lambda
Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Certifications
Experience with serverless architecture using open-source tools such as KEDA and Knative
Experience with Python and PowerShell programming

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $77,000.00 - $261,500.00 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also be eligible for:
