Staff Engineer - Finance Data Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to design and support a Finance Data Warehouse/Lake
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software lifecycle to ensure efficient system design
- Support the establishment of a vision and technology roadmap for the Finance Data Lake/Warehouse
- Develop and maintain solutions for data ingestion and transformation projects using ETL/ELT tools
- Analyze business specifications and translate them into technical specifications for system solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 15+ years of experience with industry-leading ERP solutions (e.g., Oracle, Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft)
- 3+ years of experience in implementing and supporting FP&A applications
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries and ETL jobs
- Good understanding of FP&A Budgeting, Planning, and forecasting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience working with or supporting a Finance Data Lake/Warehouse/Mart
- Experience in implementing or supporting Revenue or Expense analytical solutions via tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Knowledge of Dimensional Data Modeling
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with project management techniques and methodologies
