As a technical leader within the Creator Intelligence team, this role focuses on building robust data solutions that enable full testability and monitoring. The Senior Data Engineer works closely with Software Engineers, Product, and DevOps to deliver high-performance data solutions.What you’ll do:Design and optimize ETL pipelines for batch and real-time data processingImplement data processing workflows in AWS cloud environments, ensuring scalability and efficiencyIntegrate with various data stores including OLTP databases (PostgreSQL, SQLServer), OLAP (DuckDB, Redshift), Vector and full-text search (ElasticSearch), and streaming (Kafka, Kinesis).Develop and maintain fully testable and monitorable data pipelinesCollaborate closely with other engineers, product owners, and data scientists to deliver effective solutions to business problemsWho you are and what you’ll need for this position:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field8+ years of experience of data engineering in large-scale production systemsStrong experience with a variety of OLTP and OLAP databases and related data modeling techniquesProficiency in Python, Java, Scala, Go or similar languages for data processingHands-on experience with ETL tools and workflow orchestration frameworks (e.g. Airflow, AWS Glue, Step Functions)Upper-Intermediate or higher English level (spoken and written)Experience with MLOps tooling (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow)Familiarity with streaming data architectures and real-time processingKnowledge of data governance and compliance frameworksContainerization and Kubernetes experience for data workloadsConfidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job.
