This is an opportunity to build an iconic consumer product and a category-defining business that reshapes how people travel.You Will:Play a key role in shaping the vision, architecture, and implementation of our end-to-end data infrastructurePartner with engineering, product, and business leaders to understand data needs and influence the long-term data architectureBuild scalable, reliable data pipelines that support analytics, operations, and product experiencesDesign and implement efficient batch and real-time data flows to power reporting, insights, and automationCollaborate with software engineers to instrument key events and ensure data is captured cleanly and consistentlyDevelop well-modeled, intuitive data layers that make it easy for others to query and consume dataImplement quality checks, monitoring, and alerts to ensure trust in the dataContinuously optimize pipelines and workflows for performance, cost, and maintainabilityPlay a key role in growing our data engineering capabilities as we scale — including mentoring others and setting foundational practicesContribute to incident response and support rotational coverage when needed to maintain data uptime and reliabilityYou may be a right fit for this role if you:Have 5+ years of experience building and maintaining data infrastructure at scaleAre fluent in modern data tools and cloud-native ecosystems (e.g. dbt, Airflow, Snowflake/BigQuery, Kafka, Spark, etc.)Have experience designing dimensional data models and optimizing warehouse performanceHave partnered closely with analytics, product, or ML teams to deliver clean, reliable, well-documented dataHave built data platforms from the ground up or been a key contributor in a high-growth startup environmentAre pragmatic and quality-driven — you know when to ship scrappy and when to build for scaleAre excited about working cross-functionally to turn ambiguous business problems into concrete data solutionsThrive in early-stage environments with high ownership, autonomy, and rapid changeAre motivated by building elegant systems that empower others — not just crunching numbersCome to work with curiosity, humility, and a collaborative spiritOur Benefits:At Kindred, we know that good things happen when we look out for one another.
