Their platform enables teams to build, test, and run AI systems with confidence.
They are now looking for a Staff Backend Product Engineer to take ownership of the distributed systems and data infrastructure powering some of the world’s most sophisticated AI teams.
What you’ll be doing
• Building scalable backend services in Python and Go
• Designing distributed systems that process massive volumes of telemetry, evaluation, and inference data
• Developing APIs and platform capabilities that power AI observability and agent engineering workflows
• Improving reliability, performance, and scalability across core infrastructure
• Working closely with product, ML, and customers to shape the roadmap
• Driving architecture decisions and setting a high technical bar across the engineering team
What they’re looking for
• Staff-level backend engineering experience in high-growth startups or top-tier product companies
• Deep expertise in Python, Go, distributed systems, and cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience building AI, observability, analytics, or developer tooling products
• Strong product instincts and a proven track record of shipping from 0→1
• High agency, low ego, and a desire to solve complex technical problems
