Staff Accountant Payroll Specialist (Remote)
Luna Physical Therapy is seeking a Staff Accountant Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing, tax compliance, benefits reconciliation, and key accounting functions. This role ensures accurate payroll execution while supporting financial reporting and month-end close processes.

How you will have an impact
Prepare bank reconciliations and match NetSuite transactions.
Manage corporate credit card programs and reconcile transactions.
Process bi-weekly payroll, review reports, and compile GL entries.
Review timesheets for accuracy and compliance with state labor laws.
Maintain time off policies in ADP.
Assist People Operations with hires, terminations, and promotions.
Support benefits enrollment and reconcile benefits invoices with payroll deductions.
Maintain state payroll tax accounts and set up new accounts as needed.
Process accounts payable, including invoices and expense reports.
Maintain supporting payroll documentation.
Implement process improvements to streamline functions.
Support year-end closing and assist with ad hoc projects.

What you can offer Luna
1+ years of experience with Accounting & AP systems (NetSuite highly preferred).
Experience with Excel and Google Suite preferred.
Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
Minimum 1 year of general accounting experience; multi-location experience strongly preferred.
Experience within the Healthcare industry is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization (internal & external).
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment, new systems, software, and processes.
$55,000 - $60,000 a year
Salary commensurate on location and experience
