About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will support core accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to process improvements. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including workpaper preparation and supportReconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accountsAnalyze financial data and budget variances Support preparation of financial statements Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as neededPartner cross-functionally to gather financial data and resolve discrepanciesPrepare and maintain documentation in support of internal and external audit requestsPrepare and maintain general ledger, including journal entry preparation and postingIdentify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencyEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsEducation & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (public/private mix preferred)Strong understanding of GAAPExperience with ERP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsCPA or CPA-eligible (or actively pursuing certification)Experience in tech industry professional services environmentExposure to financial reporting and audit processesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Accountability and ownershipStrong communication and collaboration skillsContinuous improvement mindsetAdaptability in a changing environmentWhat We Offer: Competitive salary and performance-based incentivesComprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insuranceOpportunities for professional development and career growthA collaborative and inclusive work environmentWhy You Should Join Us: 100% CEO approval on GlassdoorSmall but mighty team of ~150 Engagers Values that drive us: Be Great at What You Do, Be Growth Oriented, Be a Team Player, Own ItCurrently 100% remote work arrangements (minimal travel may be required per client need)If you’re interested, so are we!
