Through this program, SAI contributes to the local community and seeks to inspire and encourage other companies to the same purpose.Job DescriptionOverview of PositionIn our new position of Staff Accountant, you will have the opportunity to take on a wide range of challenging accounting and tax responsibilities while learning to work in an Agile environment. Your duties will include executing general accounting tasks such as accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepaids, journal entries, and reconciliations. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.What you’ll be doing: Ensure accurate and timely financial month-end close activities as directedMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and other financial recordsPrepare journal entries and ensure that there is adequate supporting documentation and proper codingTrack and record monthly fixed assets ledgerActive role in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processAssist with annual financial and 401K auditsMaintain Accounts Receivable collections process, including communication with customers and sales reps on past due balancesAssist with VAT registrations and filingsRespond to customer inquiries and resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner, which may include working with various internal departmentsAssist with process and system improvement projectsAssist with ad hoc projects, research, and the annual audit as necessaryQualificationsA successful candidate will have:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent 2+ years of general ledger accounting, tax preparation, auditing or financial reporting experienceExperience in settings that require critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skillsImpeccable analytical and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and self-directedNetSuite, Salesforce, Concur and advanced Excel skills preferred Must have a demonstrated ability to work well in a team and with people in other functions, to multitask and to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: Scaled Agile is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The target salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000.
