Join Barracuda as a Site Reliability Engineer Intern to support core service modernization and improve application reliability in a leading cybersecurity company. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Help modernize and migrate a core service while ensuring component availability • Expand monitoring, automation, testing, and deployment to improve efficiency and reliability • Learn about the software development lifecycle including roadmap and project planning, development, QA testing, and deployment • Implement and test support tools, improvements, and optimizations for the product • Find and fix bugs in production and development environments • Participate in rigorous code reviews, giving and receiving feedback thoughtfully • Interpret metrics to monitor system performance and user behavior • Document and communicate research and results About You The company is looking for: • Students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, studying toward a degree in a technology field or equivalent work experience • Self-starters passionate about technology and eager to learn • Curious individuals driven to investigate unfamiliar systems • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences • Enthusiasm and willingness to communicate via video conferencing and text-based chat Compensation & Benefits • High-quality health benefits after 90 days • Retirement plan with employer match • Paid time off benefits Training & Development Internship offers hands-on, project-based experience with mentorship and support, including social and developmental events to provide a meaningful and impactful experience.
