Sr. Training Coordinator - Nursing
Due to organizational growth, we are in need of a Nurse Education Coordinator to support medical oncology. Will have oversight of on-boarding processes, policy, procedure, and competency development across the program. Work with oncology nursing leadership to roll-out best practice changes and support professional development for clinical teams. • Prepare, direct, schedule, and provide education and instruction on topics pertinent to healthcare, new procedures, and high-tech operations. • Prepare materials for in-service/education by research and development. • Educate and provide in-service to staff by direct teaching, providing written material and skills • Develop and revise printed forms for documentation to meet standards and improve time management. • Prepare new policies and procedure along with revising existing policies and procedures. • Provide one-on-one support for staff related to clinical and professional problems. • Participates in quality improvement initiatives. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Current Tennessee RN license • 2+ years clinical experience • 1+ year relevant trainer experience • Lifelong learner • Good listener • Staff and patient advocate Apply tot his job
