Sr Title Examiner – Secured Land Transfers LLC- US Based Remote

We are seeking a highly skille d Senior Title Examiner with 5+ years of title examination experience with Residential Lot/Block properties. The ideal candidate will perform thorough title searches, review title documents, and prepare commitments. Texas experience is required, and multi-state expertise is valued. Our Title Group is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting, and vendor management services company serving consumers, real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations, and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions. Job Responsibilities • Conduct thorough searches of public records and complete examinations to assess property status of title, adhering to regulatory standards and Underwriter policies. • Review documents affecting title to property, such as mortgages, deeds, probate records, and trust agreements. • Read and interpret real estate documents, legal proceedings, maps, and surveys. • Assemble Title Commitments for issuance of Final Title Policies. • Communicate effectively with Underwriters, Title Officers, Escrow Officers, and Escrow Processing Teams. • Mentor junior examiners on various title issues. Qualifications • 5 years of title examination experience, including at least 1–2 years of Texas experience. • Residential Lot/Block examination experience required, with Acreage (metes and bounds) experience preferred. • Proficient in the use of Title Data (TIMS), Deed Plotter, and have experience with County Government websites. • Good research and investigation skills; understanding of legal terms and awareness of new legislation affecting real property. • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation. • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities with strong organizational skills. • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use software applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Acrobat). • Attention to detail combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.
