Sr Technical Writer (Developer Documentation)

We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer with experience in creating developer-focused documentation. This role involves developing high-quality conceptual and functional documentation that explains complex software systems and development tools to a technical audience. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholder teams to gather technical information and... produce clear, concise, and user-friendly content that helps developers understand and use our products effectively.

Sample Projects

· Collaborate with subject matter experts to write new documentation explaining how a developer can use a component or widget in their product

· Establish a strategy for transforming internal documentation into external-facing documentation

· Interface with designers, engineers, and partners to create and run a process for maintaining documentation freshness

Responsibilities:

· Create high-quality reference and instructional documentation for developers

· Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify knowledge gaps in content

· Use a suite of internal tools to draft, develop, and publish content

Skills:

· Self-starter able to work independently and anticipate needs

· Web development experience

· Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

· Proficiency with Markdown, HTML, and either Javascript or Python

· Strong familiarity with programming best practices

· Experience generating documentation from source code

Education requirement:

· Bachelor’s degree in English, Software Development, or a similar subject
