As a Senior Specialist in Fraud and Non-Fraud Investigations, you will assist customers in protecting themselves against fraud and resolving billing disputes through thorough investigations and customer communication.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with customers who have experienced fraud or a billing error on their account while also reassuring these vulnerable customers that FNBO has their backDetermine the validity of disputes and hold customers accountable if necessaryConduct an in-depth investigation and attempt to identify a suspectContact law enforcement when necessary and provide important informationResearch and submit Suspicious Activity Referrals when necessaryUnderstand chargeback life cycles for Visa and MastercardReview responses from merchants and respond accurately and professionally based on the information that was providedUnderstand Federal Regulation Z and ensure that all work is completed to the standard that is set forthPerform basic accounting and ensure that customer’s accounts balance after an investigation is completeAssist the Bankcard Recovery department by investigating claims of fraud and billing disputes on accounts in collectionsEffectively manage time to ensure performance is meeting or exceeding production goalsSkillsHigh school diploma or GEDExcellent oral and written communication skillsBasic PC skills required with the ability to master the software programs we use (FileNet, TBS, CRT, etc.)A minimum of nine months of customer service experienceBasic accounting skills with the ability to balance accountsCredit card dispute and chargeback experience is highly desiredFamiliarity with the credit card or banking industryBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance401k, With Matching ContributionsTime Off ProgramsHealth Savings Account (HSA)/Dependent CareEmployee BankingGrowth OpportunitiesTuition AssistanceShort-Term/Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany OverviewFirst National Bank Ghana received a universal banking license from the Bank of Ghana during the second half of 2015 with Richard Hudson as Chief Executive Officer.
