LocationOur Senior Software Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA. This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Spain. The OpportunityAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working on improving the DoiT Cloud Intelligence product and implementing new features. You'll be collaborating with product managers, DevOps, and developers from other teams, and actively participating in product-making decisions.In this role, you will focus on building and optimizing solutions using AI and cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on cost optimization and performance at scale. You’ll beworking on enhancing Ava, our AI Assistant, as well as a feature known as Diagram, which helps customers — primarily startups and tech companies — visualize and streamline their cloud infrastructure.You will play a key role in solving complex technical challenges, such as building scalable AI-based systems and integrating cloud intelligence into our platformResponsibilitiesImplementing features. From the proposal through spec and implementation to maintenance. You're expected to propose things that you think can be an excellent addition to the productsReviewing code. We believe in code reviews. And you will soon start reviewing pull requests as well!Improving the health of the codebase. We’re mindful of accumulating technical debt. We dedicate one day per week to housekeepingProviding feedback. The team plans and discusses the upcoming work. We provide feedback to each other, trying to find challenges and unknowns as early as possibleQualifications5+ years of software development experience as a Full Stack EngineerA solid understanding of programming languages, ideally knowledge of TypeScript and Go, but if you don’t, you will be willing to learn and fully embrace these languagesExperience with Google Cloud or AWS in a production environmentExperience in system designEmbraces continuous development and learningKnowledge of software engineering practicesExperience with Git/GitHubExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalSelf-organized, Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough, and tenaciousAbility to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environmentA great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at workBonus PointsBA/BS degree or equivalent practical experienceExperience with AI, embeddings, LangChain, LangGraph, agents, and MCPExperience with a vector databaseExperience with IaC (Terraform/Pulumi)Are you a Do’er?Be your truest self.
