Senior Accountant (Derivatives) Now recruiting on behalf of a large client based in the Southeast US who is hiring an experience Senior Accountant with a focus on Derivatives and other complex accounting. This role is fully remote for those in the Southeast US and requires limited travel (likely on a quarterly basis). The Senior Accountant will be responsible for accounting for derivatives and other investment instruments, GAAP compliance, internal controls/SOX compliance, SEC reporting support, audit support and other complex accounting research and analysis. The right candidate for this remote Senior Accountant role will have: • CPA designation (required) • Bachelor's in Accounting • 4 years of relevant experience (investment accounting, complex accounting research, SEC reporting exposure) • Experience working publicly traded clients / companies • History of job stability and career progression • Seeking talent in Georgia, Alabama or Florida Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
