The Role Your mission GotPhoto is looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Product Designer to join our Product Design Team in Berlin to design experiences that empower photographers to work smarter, faster, and with confidence. Our business is growing and so is our team: we will have around 200 employees, distributed across 5 countries, by the end of 2025. As we grow and expand, we recognize the need for a dedicated Sr. Product Designer to simplify workflows —from job creation to gallery publishing and communication— boosting photographer efficiency , increasing conversions, and enabling them to focus on what they love: capturing special moments. This is a one-year limited contract covering maternity leave. You are reporting to our Design Lead Nils . Responsibilities You will be part of the Photographer Workflow team and responsible for: Immersing yourself in user needs: Conducting research, analyzing data, and gathering insights from photographers and consumers to uncover opportunities. Designing the best experience for customers: Transforming complex challenges into simple, elegant solutions that redefine how people interact with and purchase photos. Bringing ideas to life: Crafting engaging wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and polished designs in Figma—leveraging AI tools where appropriate to accelerate exploration, enhance iteration, and generate smarter, more scalable solutions. Championing collaboration: Partnering with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring designs to life and maintain a consistent, scalable design system. Balancing business and user needs: Optimizing for both usability and performance metrics—like increased sales, better conversion, and ease of setup. Shaping a strong design culture: Engaging in design reviews, sharing insights, and continuously refining how we work as a team. We are looking for: You are an excellent product designer with a passion for user interfaces focusing on interaction and product design for digital products as well as user-centric design. You have a structured way of thinking and a hands-on mentality. 4+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful UX and UI work. Simplifying, designing, and shipping complex SaaS products. Strong skills in interaction design, user research, and usability testing . Proficiency in Figma and design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability in designs. Comfortable leveraging AI tools —such as Lovable, Gemini, ChatGPT, Cursor, and others—to speed up workflows, gather insights, and support ideation and writing. A structured mindset with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Strong collaboration skills , working effectively with PMs, developers, and stakeholders. Self-motivated and proactive with excellent time management skills.
