About the Role:
As a Sr. Principal Software Engineer - Identity, you will:
Identify and introduce best practices in software engineering, architecture, and technical direction
Collaborate with engineering leaders, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions and architectures
Provide expert guidance on object-oriented programming, functional programming, and Continuous Integration and Deployment
Contribute to the development of Consumer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) capabilities across The Walt Disney Company
Requirements:
Minimum 12 years of related work experience in software engineering
Familiarity with Java Virtual Machine (JVM) languages, cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), and big data technologies (Spark, Hive, Presto)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study
Desirable Skills:
Expertise in open standards for identity management (OpenID, OpenID Connect, OAuth, SAML, LDAP)
Familiarity with Scala programming language, functional programming, and infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices
