What you’ll do: • Lead Physical Inventory Processes: Oversee and execute physical inventory operations for Target Stores and Distribution Centers. • Partner Across the Enterprise: Collaborate with stores, distribution centers, and third-party inventory service vendors. • Travel & On-Site Support: Travel approximately 30% (peak periods February–October). • On-Call Support: Provide rotational overnight on-call support. • Market Oversight: Manage assigned market performance, analyze results, implement corrective actions. • Special Projects: Drive initiatives such as scheduling, updating process documentation, enhancing controls, reviewing reporting. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve inventory accuracy. About you: • Education & Experience: Four‑year degree or equivalent; 2+ years in physical inventory or store operations preferred. • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 30%. • Leadership & Influence: Strong leadership, critical thinking, conflict management, influence without authority. • Resilience & Adaptability: Comfortable navigating challenges and adapting to changing priorities. • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to build relationships across teams. • Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Project Management: Experience managing projects and processes with attention to detail. • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel preferred.
